MARYLAND, August 14, 2026 - The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded CyKor a $42 million prime contract to modernize and operate VA’s Provider Directory platform, a capability that supports the Veterans Community Care Program (VCCP) and helps ensure Veterans can access timely, high‑quality care across community provider networks.
Strategic partner, Tria Federal, will support software modernization and operational delivery across the program.
Putting Veterans First Through Modern, Accurate, Interoperable Provider Data
The VA Office of Veterans Community Care (VCC) connects millions of Veterans to coordinated health care through both VA medical centers and community‑based providers. To ensure that Veterans receive seamless access to care, VA requires accurate provider data, real‑time updates, and interoperability across its health care systems.
The modernized Provider Directory will deliver:
- Exchange provider data with internal and external systems;
- Secure access to accurate information and expanded capabilities;
- Consolidated source of provider information across the VCCP;
- Support across VA medical centers, Veteran Care Agreements, DoD Sharing Agreements, National Dialysis Services, and local contracts
By consolidating these capabilities, VA is enabling more timely access to care and reducing administrative burdens for staff supporting Veteran health journeys.

- a provider directory accuracy exceeding 90%;
- a 99.9% system availability;
- real‑time data integration and AI‑enabled validation;
- human‑centered design to improve usability;
- automated reporting and analytics;
- secure integration with internal and external health care systems.
